Planning a new garden for 2018?
It wasn’t until I started thinking about making changes in my own garden that I realised that garden design is about art, science, accounting and ecology. To do it well I’m someone who believes that if I’m going to spend money I’m going to make it work really hard for as long as possible. So I want to make sure my new garden design has longevity and meets the needs of ALL my family members – including the dogs!
The first stage of garden design
The first stage of garden design is thinking about who will use the garden and what they need. Then it’s about creating something that feeds your soul. Makes you feel good and adds value to your property.
A well designed garden is a great place to work, play, socialise and relax. The design needn't be expensive or complicated. Sometimes the simplest things are the best.
Harrowden Turf Ltd have written a garden design guide which contains practical advice as well as inspirational ideas. AND, it’s free.
